| This was my first band I actually performed live
with. My real first band was with Serge on drums too, Simone Paans sang and played guitar,
Peter Leeuwenburg played the bass, Rob Molenaar sang and played guitar, my sister Yolanda sang and we
(tried) to cover songs from Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple andsoforth.... we were the worst
...the name was No Class and believe me, we named it right ! Later on
Serge and I formed a band with some fellows we knew from the bars we used to hang out and
things tend to be a little more serious now, however on the second "Jazz
Weekend" in hometown Den Helder we played 3 nights long from 21:00 until 02:00 with
only seven(!) songs to play. Later on we played a couple of times with
Hans Dulfer. Took place in the early eighties. We played a lot of covers from James Brown
to Michael Schenker and made a couple songs of our own. Freewheelin' in the skies ....and that for 20 minutes long, sjeez.....
