| Formed by Hans and Anthony in the late eighties,
the intention was to play a little more sophisticated music. We called it Progressive Rock
but it wasn't that progressive. Soon we created the first demo " Chimera " which was a so-called concept album, a
beautifull story about the mighty Unit 9. We recorded it at the house of a friend of us in
the attic with temperatures of 30 degree celsius. We played a lot throughout Holland, everywhere leaving new fans behind. After the second demo " Square Circles " we decided that things should be changed a little so maybe..... The first step to commercialism but it was a good one, we recorded the third demo " Private Eyes " in the "Desert Sun" studio which was actually my hobby room at home with no heating at that time ..... We recorded it without a REAL drummer, we programmed Mac Hine to do it and he did ! The final mix was done by Johan Moss at his place above the bar (Charmaine) we used hang out a lot. The rewiews of our demo's were stunning, we were seen as the new this and the new that, but we where unable to get a good record deal. In the meantime Hans and I were busy with another band called Mr.Slammer so Signs died ........
